The Azienda Agricola Orsetta is located in Tuscany. It is situated in one of the most pleasant places in Italy, in the county of San Giuliano Terme, just a few kilometers from Pisa.
Paddocks and training tracks are located two kilometers from the Thyrrhenian coast. Because of the mild climate, the temperature remains stable during the winter months; even the coldest months, the temperature varies between 10 and 18 decrees centigrade (50° - 64° F).
The stables are situated a few kilometers away from the thoroughbred wintering grounds of Barbaricina.
Here, many years ago, the great Ribot was stabled and began, as three-year-old, his exceptional career.
The Azienda Agricola Orsetta is easily reached, thanks to the convienient highways (autostrada Firenze-Mare, via Aurelia, Genova-Livorno, Livorno-Roma), that link the major cities of the north and south, on the Italian peninsula. |
